MTWTU Conference “The Role of Trade Unions in the Protection of the Labor Person”

February 14, in Kiev, in the House of Trade Unions, a conference was held on the topic "The role of trade unions in the protection of the human labor. Observance of the rights and guarantees of the activities of trade unions in modern conditions." The event was attended by representatives of FPU affiliates, scientists, political scientists.

The trade union of sea transport workers of Ukraine at the conference was represented by its Chairman Mikhail Kireev. During panel discussions, conference participants discussed the role of trade unions in civil society, as well as the rights and guarantees of trade unions.
As a result of the conference, recommendations were prepared for further actions for the FPU, the All-Ukrainian trade unions, their organizations and territorial trade union associations.
